Here’s an old booklet I found which is perhaps more related to scrying in Pagan paths.  It includes a very practical lesson in how to make a mirror of your own and how to use it ritually.  This is a read-only ‘scribd’ document, but if you Google ‘ Make and Use a Magic Mirror pdf’ you will find downloads.  I haven’t included them here in case it breaches anyone’s copyright.
